A perfect day greeted us this morning with the sun shining and flat mirror like seas as we headed into the shallows for our day of diving. Unfortunately even though it was an enjoyable day onboard Slashfin our first trip was not treated to a good sighting of a Great White Shark. We did have a small individual spotted briefly in the distance however this shark was not interested in coming any closer! The second trip of the day saw similarly beautiful conditions and unfortunately a similar absence of shark activity for most of it. After a lengthy wait however we were visited by three different individuals including a large, four meter female whose persistent attempts on the bait line gave us all some fantastic passes! A very successful end to an otherwise trying day…
