Georgina Harwood celebrated her 100th by skydiving to raise funds for lifejackets for National Sea Rescue Institute. Marine Dynamics then issued a challenge to her to shark cage dive and promised R5000 to NSRI. Motivated by her cause, her answer was only a slightly hesitant, “of course I will”.

Joined by her close family members including her great grandson, she braved the cold waters to meet the iconic great white shark face to face. Our highly trained staff assisted her in the cage.

She enjoyed her ‘once-in a lifetime experience’ and finished with a chilled glass of champagne once safely back on dry land. Georgina’s adventures have inspired many.
