Good morning Kleinbaai! We headed out nice and early this morning with the sun rising beautifully as we arrived at our dive site in the shallows. We had lovely conditions today with some small swell however none of the choppy waters we saw yesterday. We had a short wait on our morning trip for a shark to arrive however fear not, a sneak approach on our decoy marked the arrival of our first Great White Shark, a small juvenile keen to investigate. Not long after we saw an individual we have been seeing quite a lot lately that is recognisable by some black scratches on its left side and a fresh spot and scratch mark on its right side. This shark, measuring approximately 3.0m stuck around with us for most of the trip and was also back for our next trip of the day! Our second trip launched from Gansbaai Harbour due to low tides, taking us around Danger Point. This trip was very similar to our first trip in terms of shark action and also with repeat offenders in terms of which sharks showed up for a look at the activities! Our third trip of the day was made up mostly of a group known as Travel with Kids, family friends travelling together and recording their adventures! This trip started off great with a large active shark very interested in the bait line however unfortunately the action slowed down as the day progressed with the sharks becoming very shy! Overall an enjoyable day out in the bay…
