Depth: 9.2m
Visibility: 1.5m
Number of Sharks: 7
Conditions: Clearing fog with little to no swell and increasing winds

What a magnificent morning, we headed out of the harbour and to the shallows with the sun casting rays of light through some low sitting fog, setting the perfect “sharky” theme! Once anchored we had a 40 minute wait before our first shark arrived, a small sub adult male that we have become familiar with in the past few days. This individual stuck around with us for the majority of the trip even when the other sharks arrived. Next to be seen was our largest sighting of the day, a 3.4m dark and clean female who didn’t hang out for long. The rest of the trip was spent watching a group of juveniles come and go including one of our known and named, “Mini Nemo”, a small shark with a shortened right pectoral fin. Throughout the morning the conditions stayed great however towards the end of our trip those on board could feel the wind picking up, and with predictions for some strong winds hitting before midday we packed up and headed back to land after our last divers, but not before a quick trip closer inshore, where we spotted a pod of Humpback Dolphins, including a mother and calf pair, frolicking and feeding just behind the surf zone. A lovely way to end a wonderful trip…
