Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 11.2’C
Depth: 11.1m
Visibility: 5m
Number of Sharks: 5+5
Conditions: Overcast turned to sun

The day started off overcast and gloomy but the sharks instantly made it better, not to mention our incredible visibility! Today almost felt like winter conditions, with both the impeccable visibility and the majority of our action coming from larger sharks. It was three larger sharks in particular, at roughly 3.7m, 3.8m, and 4m in length, who were providing us most of the action and photo opportunities throughout the day. “Ninja” did turn up for our first trip however, giving everyone on board a firsthand lesson at just how feisty even the small juveniles can be! With the visibility and shark action we had today, February definitely ended with a bang…
