Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Good

Sightings:  Bronze whaler sharks, Indian Ocean Humpback Dolphins, African penguins + Smooth hammerheads

Summary: A great day back on the water after a no sea day, rewarded by calm waters and great visibility! Our Bronze whaler sharks were with us shortly after anchoring, with guests on board and in the cage getting an amazing view of these majestic sharks. Both trips were lucky enough to catch bonus sightings of the endangered African penguins and even juvenile smooth hammerhead sharks, a rare sighting in our bay! To all who joined us today, thank you, it was a pleasure having you all on board!
