Trip 1
Our first trip of the day began with a bit of a wait. It took an hour before the first shark arrived. Within another hour we had another shark and a short tailed stingray come to the boat. It didn’t take much longer for “3-Bird” to arrive. This is a stunning 2.7 meter female with very distinct scars on her side and head. She is known for being very active and it seems like she loves to give our divers a great show. She’s always a great shark to see.

Trip 2
Our second trip of the day was not so lucky. This trip unfortunately did not see any sharks. Another short tailed stingray did stop by however. While not a great white, these creatures are quite beautiful to see as they glide through the water.

Trip 3
Our third trip of the day was a bit luckier than the first as they had a shorter waiting time. We waited 45 minutes before the first shark appeared. It was a 3.5 meter female that was highly active and made several passes between the decoy and bait line. A little while later a large dark shark appeared from the shadows. It was a stunning shark measuring about 4.4 meters long! It was almost as long as our cage! What a site to see! This trip was also visited by a short tailed stingray, and as we were leaving we spotted some humpback dolphins not far from the boat! We would like to wish a happy birthday to Andrew and Peter! We would also like to thank everyone who joined us today for their patience. Working with wildlife is unpredictable, and we truly appreciate how patient everyone was.

Thank you all!
