We headed out to sea a little later today after a day off due to bad weather to see what the sharks had in store for us! Things started to get interesting after just a short wait with many different sharks coming by for a visit and with such great activity. This included  many of our playful juveniles we have had aound the boat recently including the always welcome “Mini Nemo” with his shortened right pectoral fin, which has in no way slowed him down and he was his usual active and awe inspiring self! We hoped that the second trip of the day would be a repeat of the first with the sharks keeping around and active for the new group of passengers! Good news…it was! We arrived to see a juvenile White shark guarding our cage and in only a few minutes we had sharks coming in from left, right and centre. We had many of the smaller sharks coming through that the first trip had seen but also had two larger individuals, a male and female. Not only did we have White sharks visiting today we were lucky enough to have a Bronze Whaler join the party, going for a bit of an investigation in the bait line once and getting nice and close to the cage but then retreated and kept its distance as the White sharks dominated!A fantastic site for all on board, this is only the 6th time they have been spotted from our boat since they were first seen at the end of 2013! Today is a hard day to sum up, but one of our divers did it quite well… “I am at a loss for words….”
