Conditions: Beautiful morning, with some swell in the afternoon.

It was an early morning start as we headed out to sea. This morning we had a large exclusive group keen to see the sharks in our waters. We arrived at our dive-site and everyone wetsuited up. Our first sighting was the brief glimps of a Copper shark behind our boat, and not long another popped up to check out the cage. We even had a great white came up and lunged at the bait, before disappearing into the deep. The Copper sharks came around a few times, but the main star of our trip turned out to be a Short-tailed Stingray, who really wanted to be in the lime-light of the trip. Afterwards we headed out to Dyer Island and Geyser Rock to show our guests the seals. Then we headed to Gansbaai harbour, where we took our guests back to the Great White House for a soup-y finish. 

For our second trip we headed back to the shallows for a sharky mission. We had a bit of a wait on our hands this afternoon, but we had a few copper sharks lurking in the murky water for our first group. We got a couple of close passes from the copper sharks and then in jumped our second group. This is where we saw a large shadow in the distance approaching with some speed. It turned out to be the 4.5m female White and Bite that we haven’t seen for a few days. She gave the next two cages some spectacular sightings as she patrolled around Slashfin with some degree of presence. After her visit a few copper sharks returned to check out what was going on and it was a nice end to the trip
