Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: 14.8°C + 14.9°C

Depth: 7.5m + 6.1m

Visibility: 1m + 1m

Conditions: Scattered showers with a bit of swell

We started a little later this morning to avoid most of the wind. While we had a few showers this morning it did not deter us in our search for sharks! We got copper sharks pretty quick to start the trip off. We got our first group into the water for some stunning views of these awesome sharks. Towards the middle of the trip we got lucky and saw ourselves a 2.5m male white shark which gave us a good few passes so that we all managed to get a nice sighting of him. We got a bonus of a stingray and more copper sharks towards the end of the trip and with that we headed back to land for some warm  well deserved soup.

For our second trip we once again headed back to our dive site in The Shallows. Moments after our crew attached the cage to the side of our vessel, the first Copper sharks arrived. As the sharks became more and more active, we were also visited by a highly energetic white shark. Our guests had an amazing time in the cage as the shark jumped out of the water in front of the cage. Luckily the weather remained very nice, and it turned into a fantastic day out at sea.
