We’re getting used to these stunning sunrise starts, they just keep getting better. What better way to start the day with the sun climbing over the mountains and glazing us in a beautiful orange glow! Enough of the sun lets get on with the sharks! As we geared up the morning we got familiar with the cage set up and what to do when a shark appears, and shortly after this a white shark came and joined us! As our divers got in the water, we identified this shark as the 2.8m female with the pigemtations marks on the left side of her gills. She was super chilled this morning as she glided around our divers. With some nice visibility today as well we were treated to all her beauty. Activity was a little slow on this trip but when she was around it was a beautiful sight to see!

Our second trip launched after having an extra special treat- in honor of Madiba Day, the staff of the Great White House had come together, formed a choir, and honored us with a couple of songs. This wasn’t the only fintastic start to our trip- within minutes of anchoring a white shark appeared! It was quickly joined by another. Both sharks we could easily recognize, with one being a 2.6 meter male and one being a 3 meter male. They seemed to enjoy sneaking up from beneath the cage, giving our divers a great view not only in front of the cage, but under the boat as well. They were eventually joined by another 3 meter male, Clampo. He stuck around throughout the rest of the trip, dissapearing for a bit while the younger male made attempts at the seal decoy. What a great way to end a wonderful day!
