Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Warm

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray, Cape fur seals, African penguins + Box jellyfish

Summary: A windy but warm day on the water with our guests today! Shortly after arriving on anchor, the Bronze Whaler sharks were present in large numbers, displaying their characteristic schooling behaviour in front of the cage! As well as abundant sightings of these sharks, we were soon in the presence of a large Short-tail stingray, casting a large shadow in front of the cage for both divers and guests on board to catch a true sighting of how large these rays get! For the 2. trip of the day, we had sharks as soon as we reanchored in the bay! The Bronze whalers =s were active and at the end, we had so many different individuals around the cage! We also got Fortinut so see a Short-tail stingray as well as a cape fur seal around! On the way back to the harbor we got some quick glims of a raft of endangered African penguins!  Thank you to everyone who joined us, it was a pleasure having you on board.
