Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Warm

Visibility: Moderate

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray, Cape fur seals + African penguins

Trip Summary:”It was a beautiful start to our early trip today! Our guests were a little tired but very excited to get out into the bay. We didn’t have to wait long for the first Bronze Whaler shark to appear. Our first diver was able to get a close encounter with the beautiful sharks. We also had a nice visit from a short-tail stingray with a shark bite mark that we know but hadn’t seen in a few months during our trips. The shark activity was consistent troughout both trips today, and the water temperature was more on the warmer side! Thank you to everyone for joining us today!”
