Sightings: Bronze whalers, Short-tailed Stingray and Mola mola

Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: Cold

Visibility: Moderate

We started our trip in some very nice conditions with almost no wind and just a little bit of swell. As soon as we reached our dive location we quickly geared up while the crew dropped the cage into the water and attached it to the side of the boat. The sharks did not make us wait for too long and we got to enjoy beautiful Bronze whalers. They came really close to the cage giving everyone an unforgettable experience. We were also lucky enough to witness a short-tail stingray come up to the surface several times. Once everyone had had their chance in the cage, we picked it up and headed back to the harbour as the wind picked up. On the way back we had another stunning sighting of a sunfish.
