Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: 14.5°C

Depth: 9.5m

Visibility: 1m

Conditions: Wind early on with scattered showers but calmed towards mid-morning

Our trip headed to the shallows early with a lovely sunrise this morning! As we dropped anchor in the shallows we got our divers geared up and had copper sharks nearly instantly. We got our first group in the cage and they got some stunning up close views of the sharks in the water. We caught a brief glimpse of a short tailed stingray on the second group with awesome activity from the copper sharks. Then with our third cage out of nowhere we got a great white! The large female with the dark scar towards the tail popped out and surprised everyone with her size. And as quickly as she was there she was gone again! We finished out the trip with some more copper sharks and then headed back to the great white house for some well deserved soup!
