Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks + Cape Fur seals + Short-tail stingray
Trip Summary: It was a beautiful start to our morning today! We Launched out of Gansbaai harbor with some rolling swells but no wind, and the sun was warming us all up! On anchor, it did not take long for the first Bronze Whaler shark to arrive! Our first divers were ready in their wetsuits and we could begin the diving experience! The shark activity escalated throughout the trip, and in the end, we had five different Bronze Whaler sharks around the cage! Overall a great trip and good activity! The second trip of the day followed in a successful fashion with some stunning interactions with the Bronze whaler sharks, including a few close passes by the cage and some fantastic viewing from the boat. This trip was also visited a huge and ever so graceful Short-tail stingray.
