Marine Dynamics Blog

Day: March 7, 2012

It is absolutely fantastic if you have the sharks waiting for you on the water when you arrive! If every trip starts off like today I will be needing a larger memory card for my camera. We had fantastic weather today and even better sharks. Our old friend “chopper” made an appearance today and he seems to be getting bigger every time I see him! It is truly incredible at what rate these animals can heal from a serious injury. Even though one can still see the scars on the animal, it is much less prominent than before. We had very enthusiastic guests on board; they were keen to stay in the cage until tomorrow! Sorry guys, we only offer that package over the weekends :)! Awesome time…

We all know why sharks are in South Africa, but why?  This blog goes into exactly why we have these great animals in our waters.
